Relaunch of MeetingSource.com - It's all done!

After countless hours, the redesign of MeetingSource.com went live this year. Unlike in the past, when five programmers and a huge budget were required, this time we used a (very) small team and focused mainly on the content portion because programming headaches although not gone were minimized.
So, what content did we use to kick things off? Three types of “best of” lists appear on the front-page as content – along with the general search.
The lists are fun to create and are already getting good traffic but can we really say it’s done? No, this is just a starting point. We’re missing the participation of the very groups that the website serves. For this, we’re adding several places and ways all parts of the market can comment and engage.
Meeting planners can add comments on areas they’ve visited. Meeting sourcing pros can recommend facilities. which may be incorporated into fascinating reports.
Finally, Convention and Visitor’s Bureaus are encouraged to either claim or add their listing and include staff contacts that can show convention buyers around. Although we're proud of our “best of” lists, they can never replace a visit to a place.
